How does PDT LED work?

The reaction of photo dynamic is driven by near-infrared, ultraviolet, or visible light. This new technology is systemic administration of photosensitize, which is excited by photons with chemical and biologic process. The Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) can treat a vast number of skin conditions successfully and has been proven to restore youth to aging skin.

Photo Dynamic Therapy is preferentially taken up by tissues of strong mitotic activity and pathological stroma. Photosensitize develops no spontaneous toxicity; and they must be excited by photons to produce cytotoxic free radicals, such as singlet oxygen and superoxide radicals. These radicals selectively destroy the neoplastic cells having strong mitotic activities.
